Silver Dollar Resources Sets Initial Exploration Plan for Fall Drilling at its Ranger-Page Project

Silver Dollar Resources Inc. (trading OTCQX: SLVDF) is making advancements at its newly acquired Ranger-Page Project located in Idaho’s Silver Valley. This project, which encompasses six historic mines, is set to undergo an extensive drilling program aimed at uncovering the potential of this rich mining district.

The Ranger-Page Project is strategically situated near Interstate 90, providing year-round access to essential resources such as power and water. This location not only facilitates operational efficiency but also leverages a skilled local workforce experienced in exploration and mining. The historical significance of the area cannot be understated; it has been a hub for silver, lead, and zinc production since the late 1800s, with notable operations like the Bunker Hill Mine, which is slated to resume production in 2025.

Silver Dollar’s exploration efforts at Ranger-Page began in earnest in 2022 with the application of modern techniques such as ground induced polarization (IP) surveys. These surveys have been instrumental in identifying multiple anomalies that suggest promising mineralization both up- and down-plunge from historic mining activities. The initial focus will be on the Crown Point Mine area, where historical records indicate high-grade silver and lead ores were extracted before operations ceased in the 1950s due to fluctuating metal prices and complex lease agreements.

The upcoming drilling program aims to test a significant deep polarization anomaly identified by the IP survey, which has yet to be drilled. This anomaly aligns with positive surface geochemical data and trenching results, enhancing confidence in its potential. The plan includes drilling three holes to explore this anomaly, targeting depths of up to 190 meters below the lowest mine workings. The objectives are clear: expand the mineralized footprint and locate extensions of historically reported zones such as the Shea Zone and Osburn Fault Zone.

Dale Moore, P.Geo., an independent Qualified Person overseeing the drilling program, emphasizes the strategic importance of these targets. The combination of historical data and modern exploration techniques positions Silver Dollar to effectively assess and potentially expand the mineral resources at Ranger-Page.

Silver Dollar Resources is backed by prominent investors, including billionaire Eric Sprott, which underscores confidence in its growth strategy. The company is not only focused on advancing its current projects but is also actively seeking additional acquisitions that align with its goal of developing drill-ready projects in mining-friendly jurisdictions.

The financial structure supporting these initiatives includes a recent acquisition deal valued at approximately CAD $2.1 million for the Ranger-Page Project. This transaction was designed to minimize capital dilution while allowing Silver Valley Metals to retain a stake in Silver Dollar’s success through equity participation.

As Silver Dollar Resources embarks on this drilling campaign at the Ranger-Page Project, it will continue to revitalize interest in Idaho’s mining potential. With its strategic location, historical context, and modern exploration techniques, Silver Dollar will look to unlock new opportunities for mineral discovery in one of North America’s premier mining regions.
