Fairchild Gold Corporation (TSXV: FAIR, Frankfurt: Y4Y) is gaining fresh momentum with its ongoing exploration at the Nevada Titan Project, situated just 22 miles from Las Vegas in the historic Goodsprings Mining District of Clark County, Nevada. In its latest update, the Company reported several high-grade copper assay results, including an impressive value of 34.0% copper, alongside noteworthy molybdenum presence (a complete list of assay results can be found in the Assay Highlights section of the Company’s September 22nd news release). The findings add weight to the theory that the property may host a large-scale porphyry-skarn system, one of the mining industry’s most coveted geological structures due to its high metal concentrations and multi-mineral yields.
What is a porphyry-skarn system? – It is a large natural deposit where hot fluids from deep underground igneous rocks mix with nearby limestone or other carbonate rocks. This interaction creates a unique type of rock called skarn, which often has valuable metals like copper. Essentially, this system forms when molten rock pushes into surrounding rocks, and the heat and fluids change those rocks into mineral-rich zones. These areas can be very large and are important sources of copper and other metals like molybdenum, used in many industries. The system includes both the original igneous rock and the changed surrounding rocks, making it a major target for mining.
The core ambition of Fairchild’s exploration work is to confirm the existence of a large porphyry system with linked skarn mineralization. Early exploration work has already revealed several high-grade zones consistent with global porphyry-skarn models. One highlight is the Wash Zone, where sampling shows widespread copper values along a 1.5-kilometer corridor, pointing to both scale and complexity.
Next up for the exploration program is a drone magnetic survey at the end of September. This will be led by MWH Geophysics and is expected to run for about 20 days. The airborne data will be integrated with surface results to pinpoint the best drill targets. A follow-up Induced Polarization (IP) survey is also planned to better define the reach and strength of the mineral system.

Among the standout highlights, historic mine workings have exposed pockets of copper ore with assays peaking at that remarkable 34.0% copper level. Nearby surface outcrop samples from various zones have reported copper values spanning from mere parts per million up to several percent, demonstrating that while the copper deposits are patchy rather than continuous, their presence is persistent. This irregular distribution pattern, appearing as pods and lenses, matches what geologists expect from skarn and carbonate-replacement systems linked to a porphyry source.

In addition to copper, the project has revealed enriched molybdenum levels reaching as high as 1,745 parts per million (0.1745%). The presence of molybdenum alongside copper often signals intrusive-related hydrothermal activity, a hallmark of porphyry systems where valuable metals accumulate from mineral-rich fluids rising from deep magmatic sources. Supporting this, geologic mapping during the current program identified a steeply inclined hydrothermal breccia pipe at the property’s center, which is a key structural feature for channeling mineralized fluids. The pipe’s composition and associated garnet-bearing skarn textures add to the evidence of this being a dynamic and interconnected mineral system.

The exploration team has also found meaningful quantities of gold, silver, lead, and zinc in various samples. Gold values reached up to 1.44 grams per tonne while silver assays hit figures as high as 881 grams per tonne. Notably, lead and zinc showed significant concentrations, with some samples containing up to 10.1% zinc and 4.15% lead. These metals are often linked to carbonate-replacement deposits, adding another layer of potential to the project’s mineral portfolio. Such diversity in metal content supports an intricate mineralizing environment that has historically seen mining activity and promises more to uncover.

Fairchild’s CEO, Luis Martins, commented on the findings, highlighting the strong porphyry affinity suggested by the copper and molybdenum assays and the breccia pipe discovery. He emphasized that these results reveal the potential scale of the mineralizing system and that the forthcoming survey will provide critical insights needed to refine exploration targets. Executive Chairman Nikolas Perrault added that the results from their 2025 fieldwork reinforce the belief that the project hosts a powerful mineralized system that has been overlooked for decades despite its obvious presence.
The Nevada Titan Project benefits from thorough quality control and assurance processes. Fairchild uses certified reference materials and duplicate samples to maintain data reliability, with assays conducted by independent, ISO-accredited laboratories in Canada and the United States. Such rigorous analytical protocols ensure confidence in the results and help clarify the true potential of the property.
Overall, Fairchild Gold’s work at Nevada Titan paints an increasingly compelling picture of a substantial copper system underscored by molybdenum and other valuable metals. With exploration progressing toward advanced geophysical surveys, the company aims to piece together a detailed understanding of this historically rich but long-underexplored mining district.Â
