Datavault AI and Dolby Partner to Advance Wireless Audio Integration

WiSA Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: WISA), soon to operate as Datavault AI, has signed an interoperability license agreement with Dolby to integrate its patented WiSA E Express multichannel wireless audio software into Android and future Linux-based streaming A/V platforms. This collaboration enables direct integration with system-on-chip (SoC) providers, significantly reducing integration time from 12 months to 2 months and eliminating bill of material (BOM) costs for SoC platforms.

WiSA E Express is a wireless audio solution that offers significant benefits for both manufacturers and consumers. This innovative technology eliminates bill of material costs for system-on-chip platforms, making it a cost-effective option for brands developing TVs, set-top boxes, and other consumer electronics. By leveraging standardized Dolby configurations, WiSA E Express not only simplifies setup but also enhances overall sound performance. Consumers can easily access a range of powerful features through a dedicated app available on the Google Play Store, including automatic discovery of WiSA-enabled products, step-by-step setup assistance, and access to software updates. This seamless integration of advanced audio technology and user-friendly interfaces represents a significant step forward in the wireless audio market.

The global wireless audio device market, valued at $71.3 billion in 2023, is projected to grow at a 17.3% CAGR, reaching $154.3 billion by 2030. This agreement positions Datavault AI to capitalize on this growth by offering manufacturers a faster and more cost-effective way to deliver high-quality wireless audio solutions.

Datavault AI is also integrating ADIO® inaudible tone technology into its solutions. This enables real-time data transmission within audio streams for targeted advertising and interactive content delivery without disrupting the listening experience.
