Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT, OTCQX: GOTRF, FRA: B4IF) is making significant progress this year on its Surebet Discovery at the Golddigger Property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. The company announced impressive assay results from drill hole GD-25-337, which intersected 10.60 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 22.82 meters, including higher-grade intervals up to 37.28 g/t over 3.36 meters. Notably, 100% of drill holes completed to date on Surebet have intersected substantial quartz-sulphide mineralization, with 95% containing gold visible to the naked eye. These results reinforce Surebet’s reputation as a highly promising high-grade gold system that remains open for expansion.
The ongoing 2025 drilling campaign has already completed 65 holes totaling 45,000 meters, with 50 more holes (15,000 meters) remaining before the program concludes. The aggressive program uses nine rigs focused entirely on the Surebet area, aiming to define the full lateral and depth extent of the mineralization. This year’s drilling activity follows a detailed geological model developed after previous exploration seasons, which highlights the remarkable continuity and predictability of this gold-rich system and its potential as one of the most important grassroots discoveries in the region since Eskay Creek.

One of the most compelling aspects of the Surebet Discovery is the identification of visible gold in multiple rock types. Gold visible to the naked eye appears in three distinct packages: stacked quartz-sulphide breccias and stockwork veins, Eocene-aged Reduced Intrusive Related Gold (RIRG) dykes, and extensive calc-silicate altered breccia zones. This diversity points to a deep, causative magmatic source feeding the system, often referred to as a Motherlode intrusion. This geological context supports the view that Surebet’s mineralization could grow substantially with further exploration.
The standout drill hole GD-25-337 included several high-grade intervals worth highlighting. It intersected 15.19 g/t gold over 15.71 meters, with two particularly rich parts grading more than 36 g/t gold across multiple meters. These assays come from an andesite unit beneath the Bonanza Zone, an area characterized by multiple occurrences of visible gold and dense veins carrying other metallic minerals such as sphalerite and pyrrhotite. Other recent drill holes in 2025 returned similarly strong grades, fueling anticipation for upcoming assay results that remain pending.

Another strong example is drill hole GD-24-277 returned an intercept of 12.16 g/t gold over 6.0 meters, including a higher-grade interval of 18.22 g/t gold over 4.0 meters. Mineralization occurs within a strongly calc-silicate–altered andesite unit between 114.0 and 120.0 meters, characterized by significant quartz-sulphide veining and multiple occurrences of visible gold in the northeast portion of the Bonanza Zone. This hole was re-logged as part of an ongoing review program. The reported intercept is considered to represent approximately true width, and assay results currently reflect gold only; gold-equivalent values will be updated once silver, copper, lead, and zinc results are received.

Roger Rosmus, Goliath’s Founder and CEO, expressed enthusiasm, noting that the more drilling they complete, the more the Surebet Discovery “gets better” with “pleasant surprises.” He emphasized the discovery’s scale, spread over an area roughly half the size of Central Park in New York City, and its potential given the widespread occurrences of visible gold and significant gram-meter drill results. The combination of extensive drilling with high success rates and ongoing geological refinement suggests that Surebet is emerging as a standout project in the Golden Triangle, an area already known worldwide for its rich mineral endowment.
Independent experts are also bullish on the project’s prospects. Dr. Quinton Hennigh, a geologic and technical advisor to Crescat Capital, a strategic investor in Goliath, highlighted the thorough preparation behind this season’s aggressive drill campaign and noted the remarkable success in encountering mineralized intercepts. He expects the trend of strong assay results to continue, underscoring the confidence earned by the Surebet Discovery’s continuity and clarity as a mineral system.
From a technical perspective, the Surebet Discovery stands out not only for its grade and continuity but also for its metallurgy. Studies show excellent recoveries of gold, over 92% through gravity and flotation processes, including nearly half recovered as free gold by gravity alone, without the use of cyanide. The rock composition is benign, with no deleterious elements detected so far, suggesting relatively straightforward processing methods for any future deposit development.
Infrastructure and location also support the value proposition. The Golddigger Property covers a vast 91,518 hectares and sits near tidewater with barge access to the port of Prince Rupert, along with existing road and power infrastructure. The proximity to communities like Kitsault and Alice Arm, along with a permitted mill site nearby, provides logistical advantages that could shorten timelines and reduce costs when advancing the project.
Moving forward, Goliath’s 2025 drill program focuses on confirming and expanding the known mineral zones. The company’s plan includes continued testing for the Motherlode magmatic source, exploration of 13 surface Eocene-aged dykes yet to be drilled, infill drilling to increase density of drill pierce points in high-grade areas, and probing key intersections called Goldilocks Zones where two styles of mineralization converge. These efforts aim to define a comprehensive geological picture, and the fact that the gold-bearing zones remain open laterally and at depth hints at ample room for new discoveries.
Overall, Goliath Resources is building on a robust base of geological data and exploration success in one of North America’s most promising gold belts. The combination of high-grade assay results, visible gold continuity, open mineralization, proven metallurgy, and infrastructure access creates a compelling foundation for the project’s next phases. As assay results continue to flow in from this year’s busy drill program, market watchers and industry participants will be paying close attention to Surebet’s evolving story in the Golden Triangle.
