Mudgett’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for Hyzon as the company gears up to achieve significant milestones in 2024. These milestones include the Start of Production (SOP) for the 200kW fuel cell system and the delivery of the first 200kW FCEVs into trial. Mudgett’s leadership will play a crucial role in effectively communicating these achievements and driving awareness of Hyzon’s innovative solutions.
With over 35 years of experience in communications, branding, and public relations, Mudgett brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her new role at Hyzon. Her tenure at The Boeing Company, where she led global communications and branding efforts for airplane programs and executive communications, underscores her expertise in managing complex communication initiatives within the manufacturing and technology sectors.
While assuming her role at Hyzon, Mudgett will continue to serve as Vice President of Communications for global investment firm WestRiver Group (WRG), managing executive communications and public relations for WRG and its portfolio companies. Additionally, she will maintain her position as a senior consultant at Fearey, providing strategic advice to clients across various industries.
Mudgett’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism from Western Washington University, with advanced studies at Cornell University. Her leadership role at Hyzon is facilitated through a contractual agreement with her firm, Easton Communications, highlighting the collaborative nature of her engagement with the company.
