Nanalysis Scientific Corp. (TSXV: NSCI, OTCQX: NSCIF, FRA:1N1), a leading developer of portable NMR instruments and imaging technology, has launched its next-generation 60 MHz Benchtop NMR spectrometer. This innovative device made its debut at the Pittcon Conference and Expo in Boston, MA, from March 1-5, 2025. Pittcon, established 75 years ago, is renowned as one of the largest and most influential instrumentation trade shows globally.
The new Nanalysis-60 spectrometer represents a significant advancement over its predecessor, offering enhanced performance and features tailored for industry customers seeking the 60 MHz field strength with additional capabilities. It is built on the same platform as Nanalysis’ 100 MHz product, targeting sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, security, advanced materials, mining, and academia.
The Nanalysis-60 boasts several key features that enhance its analytical capabilities. It offers increased power and sensitivity, allowing for the analysis and quantification of small amounts of compounds with higher accuracy and resolution. This improved performance enables better compound quantification.
The Nanalysis-60 also includes advanced automation features, such as autosampler and flow cell options, which significantly increase throughput. Additionally, it provides optional functionality with a comprehensive software suite. This suite includes Pulsed-Field Gradients for enhanced 2D NMR analysis and solvent suppression routines, further expanding its analytical capabilities.
Nanalysis CEO Sean Krakiwsky highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation, stating that the new product continues their mission to make NMR spectroscopy accessible in benchtop form. Unlike traditional systems, Nanalysis’ spectrometers require no superconducting magnets or liquid helium, making them portable and user-friendly via touch screen interfaces.
Nanalysis’ technology platform is designed to support the launch of future spectrometer products at various price points, catering to diverse market needs.
The Company operates in two primary segments: Scientific Equipment and Security Services, and is positioned to expand into new global markets, both independently and through partnerships, providing scientific equipment sales and maintenance services worldwide.
In addition to its scientific equipment offerings, Nanalysis has a significant presence in the security sector, having secured a major contract for airport security equipment maintenance in Canada. This diversification underscores the company’s strategic approach to growth across multiple sectors.
