Nevada Canyon Gold Corp. Advances Initial Exploration on Key Properties

Nevada Canyon Gold Corp. has successfully completed its initial Phase I exploration programs on two significant properties, the Agai-Pah and Swales, located in Nevada’s rich mining districts in Mineral County and Elko. This marks a crucial step for the company as it seeks to enhance its portfolio and capitalize on the mineral potential of these sites.

Exploration Overview

The Agai-Pah Property is situated within the Walker Lane shear zone, a renowned geological structure known for its mineral wealth. The Phase I exploration involved extensive reconnaissance prospecting, geological mapping, and surface sampling of historical workings and mine dumps. Notably, a historical sample from a mineralized vein yielded over 600 ounces of silver, underscoring the area’s potential for significant mineralization. The property encompasses 20 unpatented mining claims covering approximately 162 hectares (400 acres), located near Hawthorne, Nevada.

The exploration efforts are designed to validate and expand upon previous geological surveys, providing modern data that will inform the subsequent Phase II exploration planned for later in 2025. The Agai-Pah Property has a rich history of mining activity dating back to the early 1900s and has seen two distinct periods of extraction, with evidence of silver, copper, gold, lead, zinc, barium, and barite found in historical samples.

Similarly, the Swales Property is positioned within the Carlin Trend, one of the richest gold mining areas globally. The Phase I program here also included reconnaissance prospecting and geological mapping, with plans for follow-up ground-based geophysical surveys based on initial findings. Covering approximately 800 acres across 40 unpatented mining claims, this property is strategically located near several major gold mines, including Nevada Gold Mine’s Gold Quarry and Goldstrike mines.

Despite its proximity to prolific mining operations, the Swales Property remains largely underexplored with minimal modern exploration efforts recorded. This presents an opportunity for Nevada Canyon to uncover new mineral resources in an area known for its historical gold production exceeding 100 million ounces.

Both properties are characterized by excellent year-round access and robust infrastructure within pro-mining counties in Nevada. This positions Nevada Canyon favorably to leverage existing resources while minimizing operational challenges often faced in remote locations.

The completion of these initial exploration phases not only enhances Nevada Canyon’s understanding of its properties but also lays the groundwork for more extensive exploration activities aimed at discovering new mineral deposits. The company’s strategic focus on underexplored areas within established mining districts could yield substantial returns as it progresses through its exploration phases.

Nevada Canyon operates with a three-pronged business model focusing on mineral royalty creation and acquisition, precious metals streaming and financing, and exploration project acceleration. This model allows the company to maintain low operational overhead while maximizing potential returns from its strategic land holdings in some of Nevada’s highest-grade historical mining districts.
