Buy a single share of one Nasdaq-listed company and you become a part owner of three things that share almost nothing with one another: a stake in the maker of ChatGPT, a large holding of a cryptocurrency built around eye-scanning identity checks, and a piece of MrBeast’s media business. The company is Eightco Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS), and it recently valued that mix of holdings at roughly $389 million.
The individual holdings are easy enough to itemize. About $90 million is tied indirectly to OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, held through special purpose vehicles rather than shares the company owns outright. Another $18 million sits in Beast Industries, the business behind YouTube star MrBeast, and $1 million is in the video game firm Mythical Games. On the digital asset side, Eightco holds 16,278 units of Ethereum and nearly 302 million Worldcoin (WLD) tokens. The rest, about $132 million, is cash and stablecoins.
Management frames the whole portfolio around three ideas it expects to define the coming decade: artificial intelligence, digital identity, and the creator economy. OpenAI represents roughly 23% of the treasury, Worldcoin about 29%, and Beast Industries close to 5%. Buying one share of the stock, in theory, gives an investor a slice of all three at once.
The OpenAI piece is the headline draw, because ordinary investors cannot buy OpenAI directly. The company remains private, though it filed confidentially for a potential public listing in June 2026. In August, it completed a secondary sale of about $7 billion that let employees cash out at an $852 billion valuation, a figure that helps explain why Eightco treats its indirect position as valuable.
Worldcoin is where things get more experimental. It is the token of World, a network built by Tools for Humanity, the company co-founded by Sam Altman and Alex Blania. World uses eye-scanning devices called Orbs to issue a privacy-preserving digital credential meant to prove that a user is a real, unique human rather than a bot or an AI agent. Eightco owns roughly 8.4% of the circulating supply, which it describes as the largest disclosed institutional holding anywhere. That position also carries real risk. The token was priced near $0.37 each on Coinbase Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: COIN) at the time of the update, down from about $0.66 in June, so the headline value of the treasury can swing sharply as the price moves.
The creator economy stake is smaller but easier to grasp. Beast Industries reaches a combined audience of more than 500 million followers across platforms, anchored by MrBeast, the most-watched person on YouTube. The argument is simple: as artificial intelligence makes content cheap to produce, an audience that actually trusts a creator becomes harder to replicate.
Alongside the holdings update, Eightco said it had bought back about 14 million of its own shares over two weeks, part of a previously announced $125 million repurchase program. Chief executive Kevin O’Donnell said the company views its shares as trading below both their underlying value and the combined value of the assets behind them, and called the buyback an efficient use of cash. The firm counts several institutional names among its backers, including Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BMNR), MOZAYYX, Pantera, and Kraken.
The takeaway is that Eightco is less an operating business than a wrapper around a set of bets. That design is its appeal and its risk in equal measure. When crypto prices climb and private AI valuations rise, the holdings look impressive. When either turns, the same concentration works in reverse, and the value of the portfolio can fall as quickly as it grew.
