OTC Markets Group Inc. (OTCQX: OTCM), a key operator of regulated markets that facilitate trading for over 12,000 U.S. and international securities, has taken a significant step to widen the reach of its overnight trading sessions. As of today, data from its MOON ATS® and OTC Overnight® trading sessions is now distributed through the ICE Consolidated Feed, a foremost normalized data solution provided by Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE). This move marks an important advancement in delivering more accessible, timely trading data to global market participants.
The integration brings MOON ATS and OTC Overnight trading data into a standardized, low-latency framework that is widely used by a broad array of financial institutions including global banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and analytics platforms. The new distribution channel is particularly impactful across Asian markets, where local trading hours line up closely with the MOON and OTC Overnight trading windows. This alignment means that investors and traders in Asia now gain clearer and faster visibility into overnight trading activity on OTC Markets’ venues.
Since early 2025, data from MOON ATS, OTC Overnight, and OTC Link NQB daytime trading sessions had already been accessible via ICE’s Global Network Services. Now, the addition of the ICE Consolidated Feed supports seamless integration of OTC Markets data into trading systems, pricing engines, and analytics tools that underpin the operation of global capital markets. The ICE Consolidated Feed aggregates normalized content from more than 600 global sources. These cover a wide spectrum of asset classes, including equities, derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange, money markets, commodities, energy, and ETFs.
Matt Fuchs, Executive Vice President of Market Data at OTC Markets Group, explained that providing live quote streams through ICE’s normalized feed helps bring vital market data closer to end users. This expanded access is expected to unlock liquidity and increase transparency beyond traditional geographic and time-zone limits. He emphasized that the capability supports the growing need for real-time data that extends outside of regular U.S. market hours, serving both institutional and retail investors.
The broader availability of OTC Markets data via the ICE Consolidated Feed reinforces the company’s important role as a provider of real-time market data on global equities. It also strengthens their position as a trusted partner for data vendors, investors, and trading firms worldwide. OTC Markets operates multiple regulated alternative trading systems (ATSs), including OTC Link ATS, OTC Link ECN, OTC Link NQB, and the MOON ATS. All of these platforms are regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and operated by OTC Link LLC, a FINRA and SEC registered broker-dealer.
Notably, MOON ATS is designed to facilitate trading of National Market System securities during overnight sessions, running from 8 PM to 4 AM Eastern Time, Sunday through Thursday. This service opens opportunities for investors in the Asia-Pacific region to trade U.S.-listed securities during their local daytime, while U.S. investors gain access to trading in later evening and early morning hours. This innovative approach bridges time zones and trading sessions in a manner that was not widely available previously.
OTC Markets Group’s data-driven disclosure and market infrastructure standards underpin its regulated markets, which include the OTCQX Best Market, OTCQB Venture Market, OTCID Basic Market, and Pink Limited Market. The company’s OTC Link ATS platforms provide critical market infrastructure by enabling broker-dealers to trade a variety of securities efficiently. This expansion with ICE’s leading data network continues that legacy by enhancing liquidity and transparency on a global scale.
For investors, traders, and institutions looking to access or utilize OTC Markets’ overnight trading data in a real-time, globally integrated environment, the ICE Consolidated Feed offers a critical link. Partners using ICE’s robust data systems can expect to benefit from more timely and comprehensive information, enabling more informed decision-making and potentially improving market outcomes.
