Volatus Aerospace Expands C$1.7M NATO Drone Contract

Volatus Aerospace Inc. (TSXV: FLT, OTCQX: TAKOF, Frankfurt: ABB), a company specializing in aerial intelligence and cargo solutions, has increased its tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) drone contract with a NATO member by approx. $506,450 (C$700,000), bringing the total value to approx. $1.26 million (C$1.7 million). Deliveries of these drone systems began recently and are expected to be completed by the end of the month. This expansion highlights the customer’s confidence in Volatus’ ability to deliver critical ISR technology that can be deployed quickly and operate effectively around the clock. 

The ISR drone systems supplied by Volatus are designed specifically for rapid deployment and robust data capture to improve tactical situational awareness. These drones are capable of day-and-night operations, meeting demanding defense needs for real-time intelligence. Aside from defense-related ISR drone contracts, Volatus has recently secured multi-year agreements with major North American utilities to provide RPAS inspection and mapping services across vast transmission and distribution networks.
